Basketball Scrimmage

On Tuesday, January 31, the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams played in a scrimmage at the Daley against Saint Jeanne D’Arc. The girls played first and took an early lead, and despite losing the game, they played very well. The boys also lost to SJA’s superior speed and experience, but not without a good fight, narrowing down the deficit to just nine points before the end of the game. It must be taken into account that this was only the teams’ first scrimmage of the year, so the close games against a notoriously good team shows signs of promise for both the girls’ and boys’ teams.

Basketball Teams Finalized

Daley School basketball try-outs have taken place over the past three weeks. Congratulations to all of the students who made the boys’ and girls’ team, and thanks to all who participated in try-outs. Girls’ basketball practice will be on Mondays and Tuesdays from after school, and boys practice will be held Wednesdays and Thursdays after school.
